What we currently know

Hello this will be a blog to update you all on the condition of our father and the miracles that God has provided.

On Monday Christian fell chasing our dog.  He broke the first vertebrae in his neck and immediately his heart stopped.  We are unsure if it was due to heart attack or if it was the shock from the break.  He didn't feel any pain as far as we know.  There was a worker in the next yard over who gave him cpr and brought his heart back.  He was rushed to the hospital where he is now.

He was paralyzed in the fall.  His diaphragm and intercostals are included in this.  He was placed in a chemically induced coma on Monday night and later it was decided to take him out of the coma.  He is still unconscious and has not surfaced from the coma.

So as it stands now he is unconscious and on life support.  The doctors are afraid to operate due to the damage that could be inflicted on his already damaged brain.

In the natural there is very little hope.  But this is where God will step in and perform a miracle.
So we ask all of you, whether you believe in God or not, to pray on our behalf.  We need every body praying that can.  That is all we ask if you wish to help us.

Ulrik and Julie arrived last night and we headed straight for the hospital.  We prayed intently at Ulrik's request.  Ulrik and Julie have truly felt like spiritual and emotional re-enforcements.  It is so good to have them near.  Ulrik has been provided many visions and scriptures from people on his base in Costa Rica and from others.

We have been given most often psalm 46 and 25.  Ulrik and Mike Lake spent the night last night.  I spent it alone the night before.  We have seen his feet move which is a huge sign.  God is MOVING in this place and we can feel it and see it.  He WILL work a miracle.  We need to pray and thank him for what he is already doing in my father.

There will be more updates soon.

God Bless,

Didrik

  1. Hi Didrik~ Thank you so much for this, it makes me feel more connected to you & your family. I was amazed to read that Psalm 25 has been a Scripture for you because my friend Jenn gave this to me this week & I was reading & praying from it yesterday for your dad & the whole family.
