Pete and I will be staying tonight.  Praying and reading.  You are all wonderfully comforting thank you for your continued prayer.  Please pray for my father's blood stream infection and pneumonia.  Pray for his neck that it is healed.  Declare that he will stand up.  Thank God for the fact that my father will stand up.

Pray for my mother as she sleeps tonight and for my brother's for their continued encouragement.  Tomorrow I will have to leave to return to school and finish my semester.  Ulrik will stay with my mother.  If any of you are willing we are wishing for people to come and pray over my father and read God's word to him aloud.  We believe that this is an important part of his healing.  If anyone is feeling led to stay the night with my father any nights in the coming weeks that would be so wonderful as well. Thank you for your prayer.

  1. Didrik, all the Conklings are praying, not only for your father, but also for you, your mother, and brothers that you will be surrounded by and held up in love.

  3. We are praying in San Antonio. My daughter is in the flute studio, and your family has been such a blessing to her. We know God will continue to work in and through you in this most difficult time.

My daughter was Bonnie's student. I am so thankful to your mom. I am Israeli so I called my Rabbie in Jerusalem and he went to the weiling wall to pray for you tonight. Many Jewish and Hebrew prayers are coming your way from Jerusalem Israel.
All the love to your mom and your family

  6. There are so many here at Eastman praying for your father! It is so humbling to see God pouring out his miracles! And it is clear that His light lives in your family and will not be put out!

There are countless numbers here that love your family dearly. We will all continue fervently praying for him!

  8. Didrik, you don't know me but your mother does. I was her student for many years at Eastman and she has been an important musical and spiritual mentor for me. Your father has also been so very kind to me. I am not part of your particular spiritual community and I have no wish to intrude upon you and your family right now. But your note asking people to sit with your father at night and pray with and for him prompts me to write and let you know that I am willing to come and do that if it would be helpful. If not, I will continue to pray for you all at home. Please give my love and support to your mother, and contact me via email if there is anything I can do for you (mroth1@naz.edu). Marjorie

    1. Thank you Marjorie. Any prayer and thoughts are immensely powerful in my father's healing and God's work in him. I am no longer in Rochester. If you are willing I can pass your email on to my younger brother Ulrik. He will be arranging readings for the nights.

Thank you so much your work here is powerful and meaningful.
